Dr. Boxer acts as Professor of Sociology and Criminal Justice. She teaches courses in marriage and the family, sex and gender, race and ethnicity, class and status, research methods, sociological theory, and senior research. Her hands-on approach to student mentoring helps students navigate career opportunities for those with liberal arts Bachelor's degrees. She has published scholarly articles and book chapters on the consequences of exposure to disparaging humor, the stereotype threat phenomenon, and discrimination in the workplace.

Dr. Jackson earned a B.A. in Japanese History and a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering, cum laude, from Tufts University. He holds a M.A. and Ph.D. in East Asian History from Indiana University. He published Network of Knowledge: Western Science and the Tokugawa Information Revolution with the University of Hawai’i Press in 2015. That same year, Adrian College awarded him the Ross Newsom Award for Outstanding Teaching in 2015. Dr. Beth Lamprecht is a Professor of Mathematics at Adrian College, where she also serves as Director of the Cynthia T. Bosio Mathematics Lab. She holds a B.S. in Pure Mathematics from the State University of New York at Buffalo, and M.A. and Ph.D. degrees in the Mathematical Sciences from the State University of New York at Binghamton.

With over 30 years of service at Adrian College, Dr. Lamprecht is a dedicated educator and mentor. Her academic interests include probability and statistics, mathematics and statistics education, the history of mathematics and science, and the role of women in STEM. She is also actively engaged in exploring the use of artificial intelligence in education and the intersections between writing and mathematics.

Outside the classroom, Dr. Lamprecht enjoys reading, walking, and playing both the ukulele and baritone ukulele. She is married and the proud mother of six adult children, five sons and one daughter—and grandmother to two granddaughters.

Dr. Christy Mesaros-Winckles teaches introduction to communication theory, interpersonal communication, persuasion, public relations campaign management and strategic planning (PR II), intercultural communication, organizational communication, mass media criticism and capstone.

She has a doctorate degree in communication studies, a graduate certificate in women's studies from Bowling Green State University and an MA in communication studies/professional writing from Spring Arbor University. Her dissertation “Only God Knows the Opposition We Face: The Rhetoric of Nineteenth Century Free Methodist Women’s Quest for Ordination” won the 2013 Dissertation of the Year Award from the Religious Communication Association and her research on gender representation in mediated culture has been published in The Journal of Religion and Popular Culture as well as The International Review of Qualitative Research. She has co-authored several book chapters on topics ranging from family communication, evangelical media and reality television. She also has been cited in Marie Claire, Salon and Good magazines as an academic commentator for gender representation in Christian patriarchy culture.
