Bulldog 101

High School students are invited to register for Bulldog 101

Students entering the International Business program at Adrian work with professors who are consultants for business clients, leading strategic planning initiatives, performing human resource and ethical audits, developing staffing strategies, and researching expansion possibilities.

To give students an edge in the global market, students choosing the International Business emphasis are required to take at least 20 credit hours in foreign language courses. Students are strongly encouraged to spend at least one semester in a study abroad program, in a country such as Australia, Austria, China, France, Italy, Japan, Mexico, or Russia. At the same time, students benefit from the flexibility of the BBA degree curriculum, which allows in-depth study of a range of business disciplines.

Students engage in many market-driven projects aimed at developing global business knowledge. For example, in the Management of Multinational Firms course, teams of students are given a specific company and a choice of two countries. The teams must make the best investment decision about which of the two countries the company should enter using economic, social, and political risk information. The team must research and then decide the best strategy to enter the chosen country.
