Graduate Studies
Pursuing your dream career starts with the next phase of your education. When you enroll in graduate school at Adrian College, you’re beginning more than advanced training in your field; you’re accelerating your professional journey.
The Adrian College Teacher Education Program is granted Accreditation by the Council for the Accreditation of Educator Preparation (CAEP) for a period of seven years, from October 2019 to December 2026. This accreditation certifies that the forenamed professional education program has provided evidence that the program adheres to CAEP’s quality principles.
The Teacher Education Department at Adrian College is hosting an accreditation visit by the Council for the Accreditation of Educator Preparation (CAEP) on April 13-15th. Interested parties are invited to submit third-party comments to the evaluation team. Please note that comments must address substantive matters related to the quality of professional education programs offered, and should specify the party’s relationship to the provider (i.e., graduate, present or former faculty member, employer of graduates).
We invite you to submit written testimony to:

The Teacher Education Department at Adrian College is committed to listening to, discussing,
and addressing concerns raised by students, faculty, cooperating teachers, school
administrators, and other stakeholders regarding the teacher education programs.
Concerns should be submitted as soon as possible to allow for timely review and problem-
solving. A formal complaint is defined as any verbal or written statement expressing
dissatisfaction with an issue related to teacher preparation.
All formal complaints should be directed to the Chair of the Teacher Education Department, as
outlined in the Academic Catalog, on the Teacher Education webpage, in orientation materials,
and during advising sessions.
A complaint submission must include the following:
● The complainant’s name
● Contact information
● A clear, factual description of the concern

The department will review each complaint carefully and take appropriate steps toward
resolution in a fair and timely manner.
