Business Analytics is one of the most in-demand fields in today’s job market. As companies gather more data than ever before, they need professionals who can turn that information into meaningful insights. This program was designed with input from leaders at Deloitte, Oliver Wyman, and other top firms to ensure students are learning the skills that today’s employers value most.
Whether it’s identifying patterns, uncovering new opportunities, or helping a company streamline operations, business analysts play a critical role in shaping smart decisions across nearly every industry.
This program was developed in collaboration with business leaders from Deloitte, Oliver Wyman, and Praxis Precision Medicines. Their input helped shape the curriculum so that students gain experience with the tools and strategies used by real-world analysts.
Careers in analytics offer strong salaries and room to grow. Market Research Analysts earn a median salary of $68,230, Financial Analysts earn around $96,220, and entry-level Data Analysts typically make between $57,000 and $91,000. The average salary for professionals in this field is over $74,000.
Some courses in this program are taken online and powered by Rize. Core business classes will be completed on campus, giving students the best of both worlds: strong campus community with flexible, tech-forward learning.
This program was shaped over more than three years of collaboration with educators and industry leaders. We spoke with employers across the country who consistently told us the same thing: they need graduates who can work with data from day one, not just students who have studied it in theory.
In response, we built a program that puts tools and practice at the center. From the start, students dive into hands-on work using platforms like SQL, Tableau, and Excel. As the program progresses, they apply what they’ve learned to real-world business challenges and begin building a portfolio that demonstrates their skills to future employers.
Everything from course content to elective options was developed with direct input from hiring managers. This ensures that students are gaining experience with the exact skills employers look for in job candidates.
At Adrian College, this degree is more than academic. It’s designed to bridge the gap between classroom learning and career readiness, helping students graduate with the confidence and capabilities to make an immediate impact.

Data is no longer a luxury. It’s a necessity. Today’s companies depend on professionals who can collect, clean, and analyze data to shape smart, strategic decisions. That’s exactly what Adrian’s Business Analytics program prepares students to do.
