Sigma Alpha Epsilon

Michigan Alpha Chapter

The Michigan Alpha chapter of Sigma Alpha Epsilon (SAE) is our longest running chapter on campus. They first started in 1878 as Adrian College’s first local fraternity, Delta Tau Delta. They became chartered as Sigma Alpha Epsilon on January 22, 1887 and were the first SAE chapter in Michigan. Their colors are royal purple and old gold, their flower is a violet, and their mascot is a lion.

Philanthropy

Sigma Alpha Epsilon raises awareness and supports Movember for the whole month of November. In the Spring, they host Paddy Murphy week full of service and support to the Children Miracle Network and NMDP Be the Match.
