Greek Life Over the Years

Adrian College has had many Greek organizations over the years.

Sororities:

• Kappa Kappa Gamma (Xi chapter) was our first sorority.  They were on our campus from May 1882-1944.
• Delta Delta Delta (Gamma chapter) was chartered in February of 1890 and lasted until 1946.
• In Fall of 1948, a local sorority Chi Psi Omega started.  In 1961, they became Sigma Sigma Sigma (Gamma Delta chapter) and were on our campus until 1989.  
• A local sorority, Tau Delta, started in Spring 1965.  They became Sigma Kappa (Epsilon Xi chapter) in March 1969 and lasted until 1983. 
• We also had a local sorority, Kappa Phi Gamma, from 1967-1968.

Fraternities:

• A local fraternity, Alpha Nu started in 1965.  They became Alpha Sigma Pi in 1968, then ended in 1970.
• A local fraternity Delta Theta started in 1966.  In 1969, they became Phi Kappa Sigma (Beta Nu chapter) and were on our campus until 2013.

There are many ways to help out our chapters - from volunteering, advisory and mentorships, Amazon wish-lists, house renovations, philanthropy events, and overall chapter funds.  Anything given to the chapter funds go directly to the chapters.

Noah Pieh Greek Scholarship

The Noah Pieh Greek Scholarship at Adrian College is a memorial award created in honor of Noah Pieh, a 2021 graduate and member of the Tau Kappa Epsilon fraternity who passed away unexpectedly in 2022. It began as a way to support TKE members with their annual dues and has since grown into a broader fund to help all students from all chapters.

The Adrian College Greek Community comes together to help grow the memory of Noah Pieh while also raising funds for the Noah Pieh Greek Scholarship. The scholarship is currently given to a senior from 5 chapters. The goal is for one senior from each chapter to receive the scholarship, and eventually a junior and a senior from each chapter.

Contribute to the Noah Pieh Greek Scholarship
