Professor Matt Kibby teaches beginning media performance, survey of mass communication, audio production, advanced audio production, and other courses in the broadcasting program.
His MA is from Syracuse University in Broadcasting and Digital Journalism with a certificate in Sports Broadcasting. His experience spans from behind the camera to in front of it. From working on-air for ACC Network, ESPN+, NAIA Network, and other properties. He spent time at MLB and NHL Network as a Broadcast Associate working on Emmy winning shows.
Professor Kibby spends time doing play-by-play for Detroit Mercy and Oakland University in the Horizon League on ESPN+. He has a passion for sports and enjoys preparing the students for their future in the broadcasting industry.

Professor Michael Neal teaches the digital media production sequence, fiction filmmaking, documentary filmmaking, film history, survey of mass communication and the capstone course sequence for the BFA degree.

His MA is from Tiffin University in Humanities with a focus on film making. Professor Neal is involved with the Adrian International Film Festival that was created in 2018. There was a total of 38 films at the festival, ranging from documentaries to animation. He also has one feature-length documentary, available on Amazon Prime, called “Bud Fowler and the Page Fence Giants,” and is currently working on a second feature length documentary.

Professor Neal also has his own company called Corked Media that has produced over 300 videos for area businesses and nonprofits since 2013. He loves what he does and is happy to share that with students.
