Graduate Studies
Pursuing your dream career starts with the next phase of your education. When you enroll in graduate school at Adrian College, you’re beginning more than advanced training in your field; you’re accelerating your professional journey.
A major in biology opens many doors for you. It provides solid preparation for a broad range of careers in the health sciences – our students have a high placement rate in the health sciences, including medical, veterinary, dental, physicians assistant, and masters in nursing programs. Others pursue graduate studies in ecology, wildlife conservation, evolutionary biology, biochemistry, plant pathology, and many other fields. Still others work in manufacturing and quality control for biomedical and food production facilities, or in environmental policy fields. A biology major at a liberal arts institution provides you the opportunity to build a college experience tailored to your interests and goals. You get a solid foundation in the sciences, learn to become critical thinkers and become lifetime learners, and get a breadth of experience across disciplines, developing the ability to make connections between similarly distinct fields.
