Pursuing your dream career starts with the next phase of your education. When you enroll in graduate school at Adrian College, you’re beginning more than advanced training in your field; you’re accelerating your professional journey.
All fundraisers/fund collections done by athletic teams, organizations, clubs, departmental groups, honor societies, etc. must be approved by administration. The digital form of the Proposed Fundraiser Request Form can be requested using this form below, and the Office of Student Activities, Samantha Bird, will set it up.
This form MUST be requested 14 business days prior to the start of the fundraiser, or there is not a guarantee that approval will be granted for the fundraiser to begin on the listed start date.
Please see the following policies regarding fundraising:
* The fundraising policy includes athletic teams, departmental clubs, honorary societies, academic classes, all student organizations, and includes both on and off-campus fundraising/collecting projects. Individuals are not allowed to fundraise/collect for personal gain.
* Any form of gambling and sports betting is not permitted.
* All fundraising/collecting must be sponsored by a recognized Adrian College group and comply with AC policies.
* No funds solicited on campus are to be used for the purchase of alcoholic beverages or illegal substances.
* To check-out a cash box, a staff member must reserve it through the Cashier's Office. An online payment option, and/or an RSVP event option can be made through the Alumni and Development Office with Jenny Carlson. Personal monetary collection softwares are prohibited.
* In the case of projects involving the sale/collecting of items in the residence halls, only one door-to-door solicitation date per group, per day, per week, in each hall.
* Any RAFFLE or 50/50 must be approved through the State of Michigan Raffle Licensing Process (https://www.michigan.gov/cg/raffles) Please allow 8 weeks to get State approval for any raffle. Greek organizations are not permitted. Before it is approved, it must be attached to this form or filed with the Student Activities Office by emailing sbird@adrian.edu.
* If you are soliciting, or asking for a donation, from alumni and/or businesses, a detailed list needs to be included to be sent to VP of Development, Jim Mahony, for approval.
* Bake sales are permitted if the organization is making a product to be sold or if it is purchased and prepackaged by an outside source. If the organization is making the product, one or more of its members must have a Food Handler’s license (MI license) who must oversee the serving, and attach it with this form or email sbird@adrian.edu. There must be proper labeling of all ingredients and common allergens.
