Graduate Studies
Pursuing your dream career starts with the next phase of your education. When you enroll in graduate school at Adrian College, you’re beginning more than advanced training in your field; you’re accelerating your professional journey.
Be a part of something bigger than yourself!
Adrian College has five national fraternities; Alpha Tau Omega, Pi Kappa Alpha, Sigma Alpha Epsilon, Tau Kappa Epsilon, and Theta Chi; three national sororities, Alpha Phi, Alpha Sigma Alpha, and Chi Omega; and one local sorority, Delta Nu Kappa. Over 15% of the student body is Greek, with over 250 members. Our Greek organizations emphasize scholarship, service and philanthropy, leadership, career and professional experiences, and campus involvement. Greek Life at Adrian College is an experience of holding yourself to a higher standard, and making friendships that will last a lifetime.

As academics is first priority, all of our Greek organizations have an academic requirement to obtain membership, and then a certain GPA must be maintained. All chapters provide study tables and academic accountability support.
Service to the Adrian College and Adrian, MI community also matters. Each chapter, as well as the Panhellenic and Interfraternal Councils, organize opportunities for members to meet their service requirements. Requirements for each chapter varies, but they are all around a 2.5 GPA to join, and 10 community service hours a semester per member.
Adrian College is an educational institution. In being so, we have expectations and standards of our students. Adrian College stands firmly against any type of hazing.
No chapter, colony, student or alumnus shall conduct nor condone hazing activities. Hazing activities are defined as: “Any action taken or situation created, intentionally, whether on or off fraternity premises, to produce mental or physical discomfort, embarrassment, harassment, or ridicule. Such activities may include but are not limited to the following: use of alcohol; paddling in any form; creation of excessive fatigue, physical or psychological shocks; quests, treasure hunts, scavenger hunts, road trips, or any other such activities carried on outside or inside the confines of the chapter house; wearing of public apparel which is conspicuous and not normally in good taste; engaging in public stunts and buffoonery; morally degrading or humiliating games and activities; and any other activities which are not consistent with academic achievement, fraternal law, ritual, or policy or the regulations and policies of the educational institution, or applicable state law.”
