Sean Gallant '13

Sean Gallant ’13 was featured in The Detroit News in an article showing basketball fans with their signs at Dirk Nowitzki’s last game with the Dallas Mavericks, played against the Detroit Pistons. Sean, bearing a striking resemblance to Dirk, displayed a poster with a spoof in reference of when Darth Vader told Luke Skywalker “Luke, I’m your Father.” Sean played basketball for his four years at AC, and was wearing his jersey in the poster, with Dirk wearing a Darth Vader helmet. Another time Sean was mistaken for Noritzki, was at Cedar Point following the Mavericks’ championship. Sean had a following of 25 younger fans following him around and asking for his (Dirk’s) autograph. This notice was shared by Sean’s ‘real father,’ Ken Gallant.
