Sally Good Rich '59

Sally Goodrich ’59, retired educator and resident of Hudson, died July 11, 2021. After graduating from Adrian College, Sally’s career began as a physical education teacher at Madison School District, then on to Merrillville High School in Indiana, and finally to Jackson High School, where she retired from. She was the first woman to coach boys’ tennis, and in 1975 she became Jackson High School’s first female athletic director. Survivors include a brother and sister-in-law, Richard ’51 and Joanne Westley Goodrich ’52, and a sister, Lois Goodrich Sayre ’62, as well as 14 nieces and nephews.
