Rich Foley ’78 was selected Best Columnist in the Michigan Press Association’s annual Better Newspaper Contest for his column, Nowhere Road. He also won second place in the sports column category for his NASCAR Notes column. Both columns appear in the State Line (Morenci) Observer. Rich continues to contribute to the letters section of a wide variety of national magazines, most recently appearing in Sports Illustrated, Autoweek, Garden & Gun and Cigar Aficionado.
