Misty Williams Sumner, DVM '09

In October 2019, Misty Williams Sumner, DVM ’09 participated in the Power of Ten Leadership Academy, a group of veterinarians that have been practicing less than ten years who are improving their leadership skills. The group, sponsored by the Michigan Veterinary Medical Association, met at Michigan’s State Capitol to meet with their legislators and learn about lobbyists and their role in introducing veterinary bills.
