Melanie Themanson Fuhrmann '86

Melanie Themanson Fuhrmann ’86, a resident of Round Lake Beach, Ill., died October 8, 2020. Making and sharing choral and sacred music was Melanie’s passion. She had earned a master of arts degree in voice from Indiana University’s School of Music. Throughout her life, Melanie performed as a soloist as well as in groups. She also gave voice lessons and served her church as director of music. Survivors include her husband, Edwin, a son, her mother, and three sisters.
