With a distinguished career spanning over 55 years, Gary Spicer has made an indelible mark in the legal field, operating his own law practice with unwavering dedication. A proud alumnus of the Detroit College of Law, which has since been rebranded as Michigan State University Law School, Spicer embarked on his legal journey upon graduating in 1968. He carved out a niche for himself, specializing in Tax and Estate Administration and Corporate Law, driven by a genuine passion for the practice of law.

Before law school, Spicer laid his academic foundations at Adrian College, where he majored in Economics and minored in Business Administration. His college years were marked by notable achievements and active participation in extracurricular activities. Spicer was a formidable athlete, playing Varsity Baseball for four years and Basketball for one year. His leadership skills shone through during his tenure as an Officer of the Alpha Tau Omega Fraternity and his impactful role as Co-Chairman of the Adrian College newspaper.

Spicer attributes his readiness for law school to the comprehensive education and array of tools provided by Adrian College, which paved the way for his successful career. He holds a firm belief in the transformative power of legal education, advising students with aspirations in law that it is "the best curriculum to prepare one for any career."
