Dr. John Weeks

Professor Emeritus Dr. John Weeks, a resident of Adrian, died November 13, 2021. Dr. Weeks was a faculty member at Adrian College for 28 years. During his time at AC, he was a history professor, as well as the men’s and women’s swim coach for 12 years. He also served as the football spotter and announcer for 25 years. John, a 51-year member of Civitan, was a recipient of the Bulldog Award, Professor of Excellence Award, and this past fall the AC Stewardship Award. Survivors include his wife of 61 years, Ginny, two daughters, including Brenda Weeks Maloney ’86, and a granddaughter.
