Cathy Charlesworth Mejia ’76

Cathy Charlesworth Mejia ’76, a resident of Kalamazoo and former member of the AC Alumni Association Board of Directors, died March 10, 2023. Cathy was instrumental in creating the Stevens Hall Homecoming Reunions. She and her late husband, Paul, who preceded her in death in 2019, created the AC First Generation Scholarship, and Cathy’s gift last year helped establish the Raftr Alumni App. Survivors include Cathy’s father, a brother and sister-in-law, nieces and nephews, and a stepdaughter. In lieu of flowers, Cathy would be honored if you remembered her with a small gift to the Adrian College First Generation Scholarship fund, Trinity Lutheran Church, or Kalamazoo Loaves and Fishes.
