Cedrick Heraux

Professor, Sociology and Criminal Justice

B.A. in Law and Society / Psychology (Purdue University)
M.A. in Criminal Justice (State University of New York - Albany)
Ph.D. in Criminal Justice (Michigan State University)

Dr. Heraux acts as Associate Professor of Sociology and Criminal Justice. He teaches courses in introductory sociology, introductory criminal justice, juvenile justice, policing, and homeland security. His work has been published in Justice Quarterly, the Journal of Criminal Justice, and Policing: An International Journal, among others. His research focuses on police use of force behavior, as well as the sociology of violence.
