Robinson Planetarium presents ‘Halloween: Celestial Origins’

Posted Friday, October 02, 2026

ADRIAN, Mich. — Every Friday in October, Adrian College’s Robinson Planetarium will present “Halloween: Celestial Origins.”

Halloween is an astronomical holiday. Discover its roots as a “cross-quarter day” and find out what stars and planets will light up the Halloween sky in the Robinson Planetarium’s October program.

The planetarium will also cover current astronomy-related events and take a look at which constellations are visible in the night sky this fall.

All programs start promptly at 7 p.m. and last for approximately 40 to 50 minutes.

Private shows for groups and field trips are available by appointment.

For more information, contact Robinson Planetarium Director Mark Fairclough at 265.5161 ext. 4788 or email mfairclough@adrian.edu.
