Nashville, Tenn., native Chase Matthew will headline Adrian College’s Spring Concert on Saturday, March 21, at the Merillat Sport and Fitness Center. Doors open at 7 p.m., with the first performance beginning at 7:30 p.m.
General admission tickets are $50 and can be purchased online through HomeTown Ticketing.
Matthew’s media team describes him as “a rising star who blazes an independent trail, leveraging an infectious country-or-nothing personality, providing rowdy live performances and authentic music built around his low-slung vocal twang.”
Last January, Matthew released his third album, Chase. He is partnered with Warner Music Nashville and tours extensively, including as a supporting act for Luke Bryan and Jason Aldean, in addition to his own headlining tours.
The country artist has amassed more than 1 billion global career streams, including more than 315 million from his first RIAA Platinum-certified song, “Country Line,” and has accumulated 1.5 million followers across social media.
Matthew’s gold-certified debut single, “Love You Again,” reached the top 15 on country radio, while “Darlin’” hit No. 1 on Billboard’s Country Airplay chart last November, marking his first career chart-topper.
He was named a “One to Watch” by HITS and selected for the Opry NextStage Class of 2024 as well as MusicRow’s Next Big Thing Class of 2024.
His 2025 Holdin’ It Down Tour was extended into the new year.
“Y’all, we have extended the Holdin’ It Down Tour into 2026!” Matthew posted on Instagram. “We’ve added more dates and I’m bringing new friends! Taylor Holder and Zach John King are joining the lineup, and I’m so pumped for you guys to see the new production we’ve worked so hard on. Y’all come out and party with us.”
The opening acts have not been secured and will be announced at a later date.
Dan DeVisser of Redline Productions will once again oversee in-house production for this year’s show. DeVisser has been involved with Adrian College’s Spring Concert since March 2009, beginning with performances by Little Big Town and the Zac Brown Band.
