Adrian College annual Service of Lessons and Carols set for Dec. 7

Adrian College’s annual Service of Lessons and Carols will take place at 7 p.m., Sunday, Dec. 7, in Herrick Chapel. The event is free and open to the public.

This event features the Adrian College Orchestra and Choir, under the direction of Phillip Clark, and the Adrian College Women’s A Cappella Ensemble, directed by Kristin Clark.

The evening begins with a festive half-hour prelude concert presented by the orchestra and Women’s A Cappella Ensemble. The traditional service follows with a candlelit choral processional, scripture readings and congregational carols.

During the service, guests will be invited to join the ensemble in singing Handel’s “Hallelujah” chorus.
