Selected works by Everett on display at Adrian College’s Hickman Gallery

Adrian College’s Hickman Gallery is currently featuring an exhibit titled “Pauly M. Everett: Selected Works 24–25” through October 24. A reception is scheduled from 5 to 7 p.m. on October 17. The exhibit and reception are free and open to the public.

Everett, a Flint native, is known for large-scale mixed media paintings and murals.

Travis Erxleben, director of the Hickman Gallery, said Everett’s work combines a vivid palette and layered materials to explore rhythm, harmony and raw emotion.

“We are thrilled to bring Pauly M. Everett’s work to Adrian College,” Erxleben said. “His energy, community engagement and creative vision make this an exhibition that will resonate with our students, faculty and the wider community.”

In addition to his studio practice, Everett collaborates regularly with artists in Michigan and internationally. He organizes artistic events that promote community engagement and empower creativity.

The Hickman Gallery is open from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., Monday through Friday or by appointment.
