Adrian College’s Athletic Department, in conjunction with the Office of Alumni Relations, have announced the 2020 Adrian Bulldogs Athletic Hall of Fame class. The nine new inductees include six individuals and three baseball teams. The inductees will be formally honored during homecoming weekend, October 2-4.
The Hall of Fame was established in 1969 to recognize former athletes and coaches who have distinguished themselves in the field of intercollegiate athletics at Adrian College either by their performance on athletic teams during their undergraduate years, by their strong leadership in their profession, or their meritorious efforts on behalf of the athletic program at the College.
This year’s honorees include the following six individuals and three teams:
Bill Badour ’89, football
Daniel Slagle ’00, baseball
Kacie Ehinger ’06, volleyball
Abby Sikora Kieltyka ’07, volleyball
Tavarski Wallace ’07, football
Jennifer Carlson ’09, volleyball, basketball
Adrian College baseball teams 2009, 2010 and 2011
A Walk of Fame is scheduled for 5:15 p.m. on Friday, Oct. 2, beginning at the Caine Student Center and ending at the Adrian Tobias Center where a reception is set for 5:30 p.m. The induction ceremony in Ritchie Dining Hall will start with dinner at 6 p.m.
“Though our current plans are to host a traditional on-campus Homecoming weekend, we will be continuing to monitor the CDC’s guidelines, the Michigan Safe Start Plan, and the AC Preparedness Plan,” said Jennifer Carlson, Adrian College’s Alumni Relations Director. “We appreciate your patience and understanding if the COVID-19 pandemic should impact our programming and events.”
