The Valade Gallery at Adrian College will be hosting a Juried Student Exhibition from Monday, Nov. 4, to Friday, Dec. 6. A reception will take place from 5 to 7 p.m. on Thursday, Nov. 21, with an awards ceremony at 6 p.m. The show is free and open to the public.
Curated annually, this juried show features work selected from undergraduate students in the Adrian College Department of Art and Design. The guest juror is Brian Carpenter, the Center for Visual Arts gallery director and assistant professor at the University of Toledo.
The Valade Gallery is located in the Shipman Library, off Williams Street, on the Adrian College campus. Gallery hours are Monday through Wednesday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., with extended hours on Thursday until 7 p.m., and Friday and Saturday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
