Nicolay Heritage Room Gallery showcasing work of Taphouse

The Nicolay Heritage Room Gallery at Adrian College is showcasing an Alumni Exhibition titled “Brewed,” featuring the work of Gabrielle Taphouse. The show is open to the public through Sunday, Sept. 22, with a reception taking place during Homecoming Weekend on Saturday, Sept. 21, from 1 to 3 p.m.

Taphouse is a digital illustrator from Lenawee County. She graduated summa cum laude from Adrian College with a BFA in 2016. Taphouse finds inspiration from folklore and mythology to create fantasy worlds and the beings that live within.

The Nicolay Heritage Room Gallery is located in the Shipman Library, off Williams Street on the Adrian College Campus. Free street parking is available. Gallery hours are Monday through Wednesday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., with extended hours on Thursday until 7 p.m., and Friday and Saturday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
