Valade Gallery to feature graduating seniors’ exhibition, ‘Conditions of Reclamation: Reconciliation

Valade Gallery will be featuring a group exhibition by the graduating seniors of Adrian College Department of Art and Design titled “Conditions of Reclamation: Reconciliation, Repossession, Resurgence,” from April 1-25. The show is free and open to the public, with a reception scheduled for Saturday, April 13, from 5-7 p.m.

In partial fulfillment for a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree, this exhibition features work by Kellen Taylor, Rachel Oswalt, Patrick Dunn and Kaye Keckler, and focuses on different aspects of motherhood versus livelihood, nature and detritus, combating mass production and controlling emotions.

Valade Gallery is located in the Shipman Library, off of Williams Street on Adrian College’s campus. Gallery open hours are Monday through Saturday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., with extended hours on Tuesday until 7 p.m.
