Annual Sweetheart Prom at Adrian College set for March 23

The Seventh Annual Sweetheart Prom at Adrian College is scheduled from 6 to 9 p.m., Saturday, March 23 in the Adrian Tobias Room. The event is coordinated through the P.R.I.D.E. group (Promoting the Rights of Individuals with Disabilities Everywhere) with proceeds to support the Hope Community Center in Adrian.

“The Sweetheart Prom Dance is truly a community event,” Barbara Dame, Accessibility Services Specialist for Academic Services, said. “Students, faculty, staff and the greater Adrian community are all invited.”

The evening features music, dancing, snacks and photos for attendees. This event is open to all ages. Tickets are $10 for single attendees and $15 for couples. Formal attire is requested.
