The Purpose of the University in an Era of AI, Animosity, and Anxiety

Join us for a thought-provoking presentation by Professor Michael DeWilde of Grand Valley State University, Director of the Koeze Business Ethics Initiative at GVSU’s Seidman School of Business. Professor DeWilde will explore the evolving purpose of higher education amid the challenges of artificial intelligence, social division, and cultural uncertainty.

Drawing on his published work - including in The Chronicle of Higher Education - Professor DeWilde offers an insightful look at how universities can navigate and lead in this complex era.

This event is co-sponsored by the Romney Institute and Adrian College’s Institute for Ethics and Leadership.

All are welcome to attend.
