Hall of Fame Nominations
Adrian College honors men and women who have made exceptional contributions to the field of athletics, either as students or as alumni. The induction ceremony is held annually on the Friday of Homecoming Weekend.
CRITERIA FOR SELECTION
INDIVIDUAL
- The nominee, if an athlete, must have been out of Adrian College at least 10 years.
- The nominee does not necessarily have to be a graduate of Adrian, but must have been a former student. Nominees must have competed at least 2 seasons at Adrian College.
- Nominees must meet at least one of the following athletic achievements (from 2000-present for men, and 2010-present for women):
- 2-time All-Conference
- 1-time Conference Player of the Year
- 1-time Individual Conference Champion
- 1-time All-Region
- 1-time All-American
- Program Record Holder
- Outstanding Senior Athlete
- The nominee may be selected posthumously.
- The nominee should be of good character.
- The selection committee has the right to select the next best candidate if criteria is not met.
COACH/ATHLETIC ADMINISTRATOR/ATHLETIC TRAINER/HONORARY CONTRIBUTOR
- The nominee in cases of coaches, athletic administrators or others need not necessarily have been a former student, but must have served the College for at least 5 years.
- The nominee can be selected immediately after leaving the institution or immediately after retirement. The student managers must wait 10 years.
- Current employees can be selected after 20 years of service to Adrian College.
TEAM
- The team must have won a Regular Season Conference Championship, Conference Tournament Championship, or made a National Tournament Appearance.
- The team would be eligible 10 years after competition unless multiple championships have been won consecutively. As long as one of the championships is at least 10 years out multiple teams can be inducted together to avoid repetitive inductions.
