You can call Adrian College your home too.

To receive a degree from Adrian College, students must satisfactorily complete at least 124 credit hours, including courses that meet skill requirements, general distribution requirements, and a major.

Thank you for showing interest in transferring to Adrian College. A transfer student is an applicant who has successfully completed any number of credits at an accredited college or university. The majority of our transfer students are incoming sophomores or first-semester juniors who are still seeking the right fit to complete their undergraduate degree. Adrian offers an extensive range of Majors and Minors to choose from, as well as an abundance of extracurricular activities and opportunities for our students. When you start the transfer process by applying you will be assigned a personal transfer counselor.

Transfer Admission Requirements

  • Adrian College Application for Admission
  • Official High School Transcript & ACT/SAT scores
  • Official College Transcript from all colleges attended

Transfer Credit Equivalencies

Your credits will be individually evaluated when you are officially accepted to the college. For students transferring from certain community colleges, Adrian has developed lists of equivalent classes. To view these, please go to the Adrian College Registrar's page. *Adrian College is not a member of the Michigan Transfer Agreement, allowing us the flexibility to accept any credits from multiple institutions.

If you have less than 24 college credits, we will base your scholarship off your high school grades and test scores. If you have 24 college credits or more, we will base your admission and scholarship off of your college performance.

For specific details regarding financial aid and scholarship opportunities, see Financial Aid. We welcome any and all questions, comments, or concerns; for more information do not hesitate to contact our Office of Admissions at 1-800-877-2246 or visitac@adrian.edu. Any specific questions regarding your application will be answered by your Transfer Counselor.

Planning to transfer to Adrian?

If you are planning on transferring to Adrian, we want to make sure you are currently taking classes that will transfer in. For example, our English and Public Speaking program, CORE. This program is a yearlong class experience required for all students, so we encourage you to not take a Public Speaking or English course at your current institution.
