Bulldog 101

High School students are invited to register for Bulldog 101

Dual Enrollment

Adrian College offers current high school juniors and seniors the opportunity to take college courses through Dual Enrollment.

In order to participate in our dual enrollment program, students must first complete the “Application for Dual Enrollment” and submit official high school transcripts, seniors must also submit SAT or ACT test scores. Most students will take pre-requisite courses while dual enrolled, including: psychology, sociology, history, natural sciences, math, humanities, etc. However, any course is available to dual-enrolled students as long as the student meets the pre-requisites for enrollment in that course.

Application, transcripts and applicable test scores can be sent to:

Adrian College
Office of Admissions
110 South Madison Street
Adrian, MI 49221

Fax: 517-264-3878
Email: kswilliams@adrian.edu

  • After submitting their application and official transcripts, students will receive a confirmation of submission and dual enrollment admission decision.
  • Acceptance into the dual enrollment program does not guarantee placement in their initial course selection. After students receive their acceptance into the program they will receive a separate confirmation of enrollment in their selected course. Please note that current Adrian College students receive priority in course placement.
  • If a student’s preferred course is not available they will be contacted and able to revise their selection accordingly.
  • Once enrolled, students will be subject to all policies, rules and regulations set forth by Adrian College and consent to the standards set forth in the Student Handbook and Undergraduate Catalog.
  • Students should be aware that if they intend to enroll at Adrian College at a later date that their grades in dual enrollment courses will impact their college GPA.

Additionally, students are expected to meet the same classroom expectations as any Adrian College student as stated in the course syllabi and outlines. Additionally, students understand there may be exposure to discussions, readings and visual material of a mature nature.

Students will receive orientation information prior to start of the semester.

Students who qualify for dual enrollment may take any class offered at Adrian for $125/credit hour as long as they have met the pre-requisite requirements.

It is highly recommended that students choose general classes because if they do not attend Adrian after graduating high school, they will likely need to take classes pertaining to their major at the college or university they ultimately choose to attend.
