Career Options for Health Care Administration

The health care industry employs over 20% of all workers in the United States. Students graduating with a BBA in Health Care Management will be armed with solid industry knowledge and ready for non-direct patient care roles. These include those found within multiple levels of management, finance, human resources, operations, and other leadership and policy positions. It is important for health managers to be both detail-oriented as well as service-oriented, so outcomes remain focused on the industry's unique customer, the patient.

Ms. Annie Keenan graduated in April of 2018 with the BBA in Health Care Management.

She is currently an implementation specialist for ACEMAPP. ACEMAPP is a collaborative platform within the Michigan Health Council that supports health care education, recruitment, and professional development. It currently offers a number of innovative service lines. Currently Annie works with schools and hospitals to onboard their health care students. She has worked there since graduation and she loves it!
