1. What makes Adrian Colleges Architecture program unique?
The Bachelor of Science in Architecture at Adrian College combines creative design education with real-world professional preparation. Students receive hands-on studio experience, individualized mentorship, career-focused training, and interdisciplinary learning opportunities within the Department of Art and Design.
2. What careers can I pursue with a degree in architecture?

The degree also provides strong preparation for graduate study in architecture and design fields.
3. Do I need prior drafting or architecture experience to apply?
No prior experience is required. The program is designed to introduce students to architectural drafting, design thinking, and technical skills while gradually building toward more advanced studio and professional coursework.
4. Will students learn digital design software?
Yes. Students work with industry-standard software and digital tools used throughout the architecture and design professions, including drafting, modeling, rendering, and presentation software.

6. Does the program focus on real-world career preparation?
Yes. The program is intentionally designed to help students prepare for long-term professional success. Beyond design and technical skills, students learn about portfolio development, interviewing, workplace expectations, networking, financial planning, benefits, retirement savings, and adapting within evolving industries.
7. Are internships or professional experiences available?
Students are encouraged to pursue internships, field experiences, site visits, and professional networking opportunities throughout the program. The department works to connect students with real-world experiences that strengthen both résumés and portfolios.
8. Can architecture students collaborate with other disciplines?
