Final exams should only be given on the day and time assigned by the Registrar.
The Final Exam Schedule is available on the Faculty Resources Blackboard page (Faculty Resources → Course and Final Exam Schedules).
Professors teaching classes outside standard time blocks (e.g., Friday-only classes) will be contacted by the Registrar to schedule an alternative exam time.
No tests, quizzes, exams, or major assignments (e.g., compositions, presentations, projects) should be assigned within three business days before Final Exams Week.
Final exams/projects (e.g., compositions, presentations) must be completed during the class's assigned date and time on the approved Final Exam Schedule.
Instructors and students must meet in person during the scheduled date and time (unless the class is officially designated as online).
Laboratory classes only are permitted to give exams during the last week of classes, using their regular class time.
All exams or final projects are limited to a maximum of two hours.
Classes with non-standard starting times must use the open session on Thursday morning.
Classes that meet more than one night should hold their final exam on the first meeting night of Final Exam Week.
Students and faculty must report any deviations from the Final Exam Schedule to the Vice President for Academic Affairs (VPAA).
