Graduate Studies
Pursuing your dream career starts with the next phase of your education. When you enroll in graduate school at Adrian College, you’re beginning more than advanced training in your field; you’re accelerating your professional journey.
The Adrian College Center for Effective Teaching (A.C.C.E.T.) serves as a campus-wide resource dedicated to strengthening teaching, supporting faculty development, and enhancing student success. The Center fosters meaningful collaboration among faculty, students, and campus partners to promote innovative, engaging, and effective learning experiences.
A.C.C.E.T. offers a wide range of faculty development opportunities each semester, including workshops, lectures, and collaborative learning sessions focused on evidence-based teaching practices. The Center also supports new faculty through mentorship programs, second-year workshops, and individualized consultations designed to help instructors refine their teaching approaches and navigate their professional responsibilities.
In collaboration with the Institute of Career Planning and Admissions, A.C.C.E.T. helps develop initiatives that connect strong teaching with student achievement, ensuring that academic and professional preparation remain closely aligned. Through these efforts, the Center plays a vital role in advancing academic excellence and enriching the educational environment at Adrian College.
