Writing Center Online Access Instructions

The Adrian College Writing Center offers the option of synchronous online writing consultations during our regularly scheduled hours. 

To use our services online:
Email writingcenter@adrian.edu at least 24 hours in advance to secure an online appointment.
Share your paper via Google Docs with writingcenter@adrian.edu, at least one hour before your appointment, so we can use your appointment time to focus on your writing. (If you don’t have a draft and need help brainstorming, or if you only have a partial draft, that’s ok, just let us know!)

After you send an email requesting an appointment, Writing Center staff will email you a Google Meet invite confirming your appointment time. You must be present (online with the peer writing consultant) during the entirety of your appointment time.  

To Join the Google Meet
Login to your Adrian email account and look for an email invitation from writingcenter@adrian.edu. At the time of your appointment, click “Join with Google Meet.”
