TRIO Excel Program

TRIO Excel

TRIO Excel, a TRIO Student Support Services grant, provides support to students whose parents do not have bachelors’ degrees, who meet income guidelines, and/ or who have documented disabilities.

Grant aid, individualized academic plans, personal tutoring, expenses paid cultural events, and leadership opportunities provided for students selected to participate based on information obtained from the Financial Aid and Admissions Offices.

Services offered to TRIO Excel participants include:

  • Opportunities to earn grant aid
  • Graduate school preparation
  • Expenses paid for educational and cultural events
  • Career assessments   
  • Chi Alpha Epsilon Honor Society
  • Leadership and professional development
  • Unlimited free tutoring
  • Educational Workshops
