Additional Support Resources

  • Professor: If you have a question or need some help understanding a new concept, the first place to go is the class professor. Many professors hold office hours to meet with students. Students should check their syllabus to see when these are. They are also welcome to email their professor to set up a meeting.
  • Writing Center: Located one the first floor of the Caine Student Center, this is a place where trained peer writing tutors can help you with any stage in the writing process for any class.
  • Math Lab: Located in Peelle Hall 215, you can drop in for help from peer tutors and math professors with your math questions. The Math Lab is open daily Monday through Friday.
  • Academic Success Skills: For general help with test taking, time management, study, note taking, and other skills related to your academic success, visit Academic Services in Jones Hall 205. Academic Services is open 8:30 AM- 5:00 PM Monday through Friday.
  • Academic Advisor: for assistance in planning course selection for future semesters, contact your academic advisor to set up a meeting.
  • Career Planning: for career or internship assistance, visit the Office of Career Planning located next to the Bookstore in Caine Student Center.
  • Health & Counseling Center: for assistance with mental or physical health, visit the Health & Counseling Center located next to Arrington Ice Arena.

  • Librarians: here to assist students with research skills and locating information to support their academic work.
