Course Description

The purpose of this course is to help students become better leaders. This is done through self-exploration, understanding of various leadership styles, writing reflection papers, and participating in class discussions. The course format includes self-assessments, speakers, written work, and strategies for effective leadership.

Course Objectives

1. Learn about different leadership styles.
2. Explore your own personal leadership style.

Course Outcomes

By the end of the course, each student will be able to:
1. Identify different types of leadership styles, and their strengths and weaknesses.
2. Identify one’s personal leadership style.
3. Explain the importance of leadership for groups and organizations.
4. Analyze leadership styles in light of various speakers and scenarios.
