Mission Statement

The mission of the Department of Purchasing is to support the purpose and goals of Adrian College through the timely acquisition of quality goods and services at competitive prices in an ethical and professional manner and promote the ongoing development of efficient, effective purchasing practices.


Location(s)

Department of Purchasing

Located in the Stanton Administration Building on campus. Hours of operations are 8:30am - 5:00pm.

The Department of Purchasing reports to the Vice President for Business Affairs and is responsible for the procurement of supplies, equipment and services. The department manages inventory control of Shipping and Receiving and is responsible for the distribution of goods received through central receiving and the US Mail.

Shipping and Receiving

Located in the Plant Services Building. Receiving hours are from 8:00am - 3:00pm.

All packages requesting an expedited delivery must be in Shipping and Receiving no later than 2:00pm. Any package brought to Shipping and Receiving after this time will be processed the next business day.

Anyone wishing to send mass mailing should contact the mail office prior to shipping.

All mailings should be bundled with the department name to where postage should be charged to.
