Why Brand Guidelines Matter

A strong brand builds trust, reinforces identity, and communicates professionalism. At Adrian College, our brand reflects our values, heritage, and vision for the future. These guidelines exist to ensure all visual and written communications are consistent, recognizable, and aligned with the College’s mission—across departments, platforms, and audiences. Adhering to these standards helps us present a unified voice and strengthen the Adrian College experience for all.


Imagery 

To preserve the integrity of Adrian College’s image, we’ve established specific visual guidelines for publications, apparel, promotional items, and the use of College-related images. We encourage consistent application and usage of our images. Consistent application of these standards ensures brand recognition and strengthens our institutional identity. 


Photography

The Office of Marketing and Public Relations is available to capture images of campus events, student experiences, and College life. To request photography coverage (subject to staff availability), please submit a Project Request Form. Requests should be submitted at least two weeks in advance to ensure adequate scheduling.


Press Releases

All official communications with the media are managed through the Director of Communications. Should you desire assistance with promoting an on-campus event, program, or initiative, please forward relevant information to malvarado@adrian.edu.

Note: A minimum of two weeks' notice is recommended to ensure adequate preparation and media outreach.
