Alpha Tau Omega is a group of men that, like our creed states, have come together to form "a brotherhood based upon eternal and immutable principals, with a bond as strong as right itself and as lasting as humanity.

"The Alpha Tau Omega fraternity was formed in 1865 at the Virginia Military Institute, and was the first fraternity to be founded as a national fraternity. Alpha Tau Omega (ATO) was also the first fraternity founded after the Civil War, the first fraternity based on Christian, not Greek, principals, and the first fraternity founded north of the Mason-Dixon Line. Here at Adrian College, the fraternity has remained a vital part of the campus since 1881. The ATO chapter founded here at Adrian College is the fourth oldest of all ATO chapters in the country. On campus, the brothers of ATO are active and involved in many campus activities.

ATO brothers can be found involved in the Student Government Association, the College World newspaper, the Department of Safety, theater productions, the Campus Activities Network, Resident Life, WVAC, intramural sports, various philanthropic events, as well as other organizations and activities.

The brothers of the Alpha Tau Omega fraternity feel that we have a lot to offer prospective members and students, both in campus living and in life. Leadership skills, academic success, and brotherhood are just a few of the benefits of being an ATO. We cordially invite you to stop by our chapter house at 1215 Michigan Avenue, located across the street from Stevens and Feeman hall.
