Hall Descriptions
All residence halls
at Adrian College are tobacco-free. All residence halls
have an open visitation policy allowing visitors 24
hours a day. The hall descriptions below have been written
for the most part by students who have lived in these
halls. For more information regarding the campus apartments,

First Year Residence
Halls
Davis Hall is the largest
hall in the Quad housing. Davis is a co-ed hall. Davis
will remain open during break periods for the convenience
of students who need to stay on campus during breaks,
including international students, safety officers and
winter athletes.
Feeman Hall is an all
male residence hall in the Quad located on the corner
of Madison and Michigan. Rooms in the Quad residence
halls, including Davis, Powell, Feeman, and Stevens,
are somewhat larger than rooms in other halls. The atmosphere
in the hall is very positive and welcoming and is well
suited for any personality type.
Powell Hall is a co-ed
residence hall located in the Quad and is closest to
Ritchie Marketplace Dining Hall. The rooms in Powell
are spacious, offering wheelchair accessibility to the
first floor. Residents of Powell often spend their free
time in the lobby relaxing, doing homework and/or socializing
in this vibrant community.
Stevens Hall is a co-ed
hall in the Quad, located closest to College View apartments
and adjacent to the all male hall. Stevens is a fun
place to live and offers a quality, educational learning
environment.
Upperclassman Residence
Halls
Cargo
Hall will open again for the fall of
2007 after undergoing renovations. Cargo Hall boasts
carpeted rooms and all new paint throughout. Additionally,
Cargo will have a TV and recreation room in the basement
where students can host registered social events. Cargo
is a co-ed hall.
Deans
Hall located on the north side of campus,
has a fun environment that is both friendly and respectful.
Deans hall is co-ed by floor. Deans will remain open
during break periods.
Estes
Hall is co-ed by corridor and will provide substance-free
housing on the 3rd floor. Estes Hall reopened in fall
2005 after significant improvements were made to fire
safety, security and plumbing.
Jarvis
Hall, located on Madison
Street, will be used for temporary housing, and will
house many students in singles. Jarvis Hall reopened
Fall 2006 after improvements to plumbing and painting
(designed by a senior interior design major).
Pellowe
Hall will reopen no later than fall break after being
converted into suites and single rooms with private
bathrooms. Rooms are carpeted and air-conditioned. Pellowe
is located next to the Merillat Sports and Fitness Center.
South Lowry Hall is an
all female residence hall.
- Quiet hours in residence halls:
11 p.m. - 10 a.m. Courtesy hours 24 hours a day.
- All residence halls are smoke free
buildings - smoking is prohibited with 25 feet of
all campus buildings.
- In accordance with state law, students
under 21 are not permitted to possess alcohol anywhere
on campus. See Adrian College alcohol
policy.
- For safety consideration, the college
prohibits weapons and "open flame" of any
kind in all of the residence halls.
