Student Life Awards 2011
The Division of Student Life
is seeking nominations for awards to be presented
at the Honors Ceremony on Wednesday, April 6, 2011. As we prepare for the
annual ceremony, please take a few moments to
nominate worthy recipients for these awards.
Below are descriptions of the awards and their
requirements with links to a nomination form
(for each award). Thank you for your consideration!
The
President’s Leadership Award is
presented to a senior who excelled throughout
his/her college career in providing outstanding
leadership to the campus community. The recipient
must:
- Be a member of the senior
class.
- Actively demonstrate commitment
and service to the Adrian College community
through outstanding leadership to one or more
campus organizations.
- Provide a model for future
student leaders in years to come.
- Have a 2.75 (or better)
cumulative grade point average.

The Student Development
Achievement Award honors a senior student
who has significantly contributed
to student development at Adrian College. The
recipient must:
- Be a member of the senior
class.
- Be an individual who has
assisted in the growth and development of
a significant number of students.
- Be an individual who recognizes
and promotes the task of education beyond
the classroom.
- Have a 2.75 (or better)
cumulative grade point average.
- Have
a breadth of involvement and interest in extra-curricular
development tasks.

The Elizabeth Milne Ewing
Award is presented to a senior woman
who has distinguished herself in areas of scholarship,
leadership and campus and community service.
The honor carries with it a cash award of $100.00
and the recipient’s name engraved on a
memorial plaque. Download

The Male Leadership Award is similar to the Elizabeth Milne Ewing award
for outstanding senior women. Yet unnamed, this
award is presented to a senior male who has
distinguished himself in areas of scholarship,
leadership and campus and community service.
The honor carries with it a cash award of $100.00
and the recipient’s name engraved on a
memorial plaque. Download
