Sigma Alpha Epsilon was founded on four virtues: Loyalty, Friendship, Honor and Fraternity. We were founded at the University of Alabama on March 9, 1856. Since its origination, SAE has grown to more than 270 chapters nationwide including Canada and more than 255,000 initiates, thus enabling ourselves to be known as the largest social fraternity.

Sigma Alpha Epsilon was founded at Adrian College on January 22, 1887 making it the fiftieth chapter in the realm. Here we proudly display our pride everyday through the high ideals and values that are presented in "The True Gentleman." SAE is the oldest chapter at Adrian College and the first SAE chapter to be founded in Michigan. more
