Stephanie
Ricketts is in her first season as the assistant
women’s soccer coach at Adrian College.
A
graduate of Goucher College (Md.) with a degree
in psychology, Ricketts was a four-year starting
goalkeeper and was a two-time Capital Athletic
Conference all-academic selection, while racking
up over 300 careers saves. As a Gopher, she posted
the second-highest save percentage in the conference
during her senior season.
Ricketts
has gained coaching experience at the Nike Soccer
Camp in Baltimore, where she mentored athletes
for three summers. She has served as a goalkeeper
trainer for the Baltimore Bays ’95 soccer
club and the Parkville (Md.) soccer club. Ricketts
additionally worked as a personal trainer for
goalkeepers in the Baltimore-area, developing
and implementing training sessions based on individual
skills and techniques.
She
was a student leader at Goucher, serving as a
student athlete mentor and a member of the Student
Athlete Advisory Committee.
Ricketts
has received her USSF ‘E’ coaching
license and her NSCAA national goalkeeper diploma. |
