Chitwood named All-MIAA in women's soccer

ADRIAN, Mich.—Freshman forward Lindsay Chitwood has been named second-teamm All-MIAA in women's soccer.

Chitwood (St. Clair Shores, Lakeview HS) was named to the second-team by the conference coaches. The forward had a team-high nine goals on the season and ranked eighth in the MIAA with five goals in conference play. Chitwood had three multiple-goal games on the season and led AC with 63 shots on goal.

Sophomore Cody McDonald, senior Stephanie Music and freshman Amanda House were each named to the All-MIAA coaches’ honorable-mention list.

McDonald (Royal Oak, Dondero HS), a midfielder, scored two goals on the season and had a team-high .154 shot percentage.

Music (Whitehouse, Ohio, Anthony Wayne HS), was the senior leader of the defense for the Bulldogs and had an assist.

House (North Branch, North Branch HS) stepped into the starting goalkeeper position and registered 91 saves on the season with a .734 saves percentage.

The Bulldogs finished the season with a 5-13-1 record overall and a 3-5-1 mark in the MIAA.
