Bulldogs fall to Britons in 2nd OT

ALBION, Mich.— The AC women's soccer team was handed a tough loss in the second overtime today 2-1 by the Britons of Albion College.

Albion opened the scoring early with a goal in the 4th minute by Sami Maskeli assisted by Allison Oakley. Early in the second half, the Bulldogs responded with a goal by freshman standout Lindsay Chitwood in the 50th minute.

However, in the 108th minute of the game, Tracy Yoshikawa scored her first goal of the season on a corner kick to give the Britons the victory.

AC is now 3-3-1 in the MIAA, 5-10-1 overall. The Bulldogs will next travel to Kalamazoo on Tuesday for a 4 p.m. kickoff.
