Bulldogs play to draw versus Belles

ADRIAN, Mich.—The Adrian College women’s soccer team played to a 0-0 draw with Saint Mary’s College on Tuesday afternoon at the Performance Stadium.

Despite the score, it was a back-and-forth affair, with AC goalkeeper Amanda House registering five saves, and the Belles’ goalie Laura Heline having eight. The Bulldogs out shot the visitors 11-7, and committed eight fouls to SMC’s five.

Lindsay Chitwood had a game-high four shots for Adrian, while the Belles were led by Ashley Hinton with three.

AC is now 3-2-1 in the MIAA, 5-9-1 overall. Saint Mary’s is also 3-2-1 in the MIAA with a 4-7-1 mark on the season.

The Bulldogs will next travel to Albion on Saturday for a noon kick off against the Britons.
